Wedding Facilities
In 1726 when it opened, it was called the George & Dragon. That wasn’t considered posh enough so it’s now the Kingston Lodge, but just as friendly as it ever was The wedding venue opens onto our landscaped courtyard garden. The hotel is near Richmond Park, and if you’ve never seen it, you should come just for that. To call it a park is like calling the Grand Canyon a valley. It is massive and beautiful and serene and majestic. All of 2,400 acres! A definite ‘must’. • Interior style / dcor The hotel is cosy and laid-back, the bedrooms comfortable and peaceful. Hassle is not a word you’ll need in your vocabulary. There’s a lovely courtyard garden too, ideal for global warming days. The Atrium Brasserie serves good food and there are some useful conference and meeting rooms if you’re planning, for example, to gather the Board to plan your grandmother’s first parachute jump!
